STEWARDESS
I’m a stewardess, but I used to be an editor for a magazine, so I always have had my head in the clouds. In addition, I’ve always been attracted by the heights and distances and so I came up with a great idea – I could explore the world as a flight attendant! 🙂

I’m especially looking forward to Munich. I have a friend who moved here a couple of years ago, and I’m excited to see him. We meet at the hotel reception and he takes me for dinner at the Schapeau restaurant where he works. It is a place with several centuries of tradition. We are served by an Italian waiter and drink delicious Italian wine. I find Munich more Italian than German. People are not as cold as we think Germans usually are. Many immigrants from different parts of the world live in Munich, and this mix of cultures and races makes a generation of very pretty young people. The next morning I meet my friend Kony in front of Mc Donald in the city center. 🙂 I have to take a mandatory photo of Marienplatz where the magnificent cathedral stands. Kony leads me along various streets with many Bavarian shops with traditional Bavarian costumes. In Munich Baviarian costumes are very popular and not only during famous Oktober Fest. Traditional German coats and blouses can be worn even nowadays and they look very original. Later, we go through the traditional market, where I can resist traditional gingerbread, but you can find almost evrything here! Spices, meats, herbs, marmelades and seafood! Then we find a beautiful park full of students sitting on the lawn. Later we change the lawn for the terrace sitting of the nearby café. As my friend says, we can have sex a lá Germans – Kaffe und Kuchen (coffee and cake). The Munichers love to hang out like that, go out for a coffe and cake, especially during a sunny Sundays. After that Kony takes me in an alley full of original shops and art boutiques. This is a place where the young creative people open their workstations. Shoes, glasses, décor, furniture, clothing, jewelry, all original pieces. Our walk lead us to a street exhibition of photographs of the bombed city from the Second World War. It is unbelievable how quickly Munich has again grown into beauty. Later in the traditional Bavarian brewery, I am enjoying my Viennese “schitzel” and after that I can happily take off back to Abu Dhabi…
