Do not expect any luxury, it is really a very modest accommodation in a land of nobody, but the view from a small stone cottage will give you a feeling of unusual luxury. When the sun begins to set down and the landscape turn into a magical haze, I find myself on the edge of the world itself. And indeed, under my feet lies the Dead Sea, which is separating two different worlds – Arab and Jewish on the other side. Many trekking paths nearby lead to hidden natural beauties such as gorges, waterfalls and hot natural springs where you can swim, but unfortunately all routes are closed during the off-season (from November to April). At least in the Dead Sea you can bath all year round. At low altitudes, the water keeps a pleasant temperature, and when the sun is up, I feel quite comfortable in a bikini. The surrounding countryside impresses me much more than the boring beaches of Ramada hotel, where we were with my friends last time. In the evenings we have a barbecue with my boyfriend right in front of our cottage and during the day we are splashing in salt water… It seems that there is no one besides us, even though in the evening I see the lights on in three or four other cottages… The truth is that our accommodation does not look any better than farm of my boyfriend’s family, but no-one has such a view, only here we have!
